Liz Allen is an artist from the UK.  She moved to the Monchique area of
the Algarve in 2005 and this is where her present style of painting
evolved, Her work begins with a cartoon like drawing which is a direct and spontaneous response to her subject.  Liz’s particular use of colour, line and pattern make her work stand out as her own characteristically original and unique work.

 Else’s work is strong and powerful coloured, mostly abstract and filled with forms, rhythms and motifs that come from several cultures. I like to work with an emotional tension that reflects my passion. My paintings tell a story, hide a secret or just reflect inner landscapes and the mystery of life in an alternative way

 O trabalho da Else é forte e poderoso, colorido, principalmente abstracto e repleto de formas, ritmos e motivos que vêm de várias culturas. “Gosto de trabalhar com uma tensão emocional que reflicta a minha paixão”, diz-nos. As suas pinturas contam uma história, escondem um segredo ou apenas reflectem paisagens interiores e o mistério da vida de uma forma alternativa.

Kasia uses the mediums of drawing, painting, graphic design and video installations to showcase her talent. Through these various techniques, the natural elements of earth, air, fire, water and space are revealed as her principal inspiration. paintings are a combination of abstract, colourful forms with realistic elements. Often painted on large mdf formats or smaller canvas. Some of them have a UV effect.

 A Kasia usa os meios desenho, pintura, design gráfico e vídeoinstalações para mostrar o seu talento. Através dessas várias técnicas, os elementos naturais da terra, ar, fogo, água e espaço são revelados como a sua principal inspiração. As pinturas são uma combinação de formas abstractas e coloridas com elementos realistas. Frequentemente pintadas em grandes formatos mdf ou telas menores. Algumas deles têm efeito UV.

Lea’s work materials of choice are mainly acrylic on canvas. The paintings can be classified as abstract expressionism and are given depth by the choice as well as the layering of colours. The paintings are usually inspired by nature themes and emotions. As part of a commission project, Lea recently has started to work on abstract woman paintings too.

As pinturas são geralmente inspiradas em emoções e temas da natureza. Como parte de um projeto de comissão, Lea começou recentemente a trabalhar em pinturas abstractas de mulheres.

Originally a metalworker for over 40 years. Mickey has the skills to fabricate almost anything he wants. With nature as his inspiration he tries  to be realist in the portions. . 

The natural colours of different metals are his colour palette. .

His artworks are imagery movement. He loves for people to stop and stare at his art. His greatest joy is when I am asked if it works.  Yes if you see it,  it does.
